Artifacts opened for business in 1999 in downtown Salt Lake City.  Starting in a small space in the design district, Artifacts has grown and expanded their showroom three times and now occupies a showroom of more than 6000 square feet in its present location.  In 2003 Artifacts partnered with The Show Room to open up the Salt Lake Design Center.  The Salt Lake Design Center has been a valuable resource for designers in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming bringing the design community to one location where they can browse a large assortment of home furnishing products all under one roof.
